Recently, Igbos resident in Lagos have cried out as the Lagos State government made an unannounced visit to Rockview, Ajao estate and demolished residential buildings of majorly Igbo people. In one video footage of the demolition exercise, a caterpillar and civil engineers are seen pulling down buildings while residents are heard weeping.

The incident follows several reported cases of attacks and threats on Igbo residents.
