It baffles me how he got to the zenith of his career , even when Nigeria fought civil war, the economy was more manageable than this mess Mr Emefiele has put the country into.
The worst CBN governor in history.

That End SARS experience should have taught Nigerians a bitter lesson to massively vote out this evil APC, but it seems we derive joy in suffering. Let the game continue. Bubu, you won't escape your judgment o.

I blame Buhari and Emefiele for that failed policy. Hypocrite everywhere, why blame only Emefiele. Buhari even disobeyed supreme court judgement. So both should be blame for the untold hardship Nigerians faced during that period

Exactly! I hardly see protest against anybody who's not an easterner, except only when zakzaky group and IPOB protested, that's what irks me.

And that's why things will always remain a lot worse.

Me too, I hated Emefiele so much that e be me like make I break him head.
Just that, hypocrisy too much.

Politically influenced violence. People are busy shouting President-elect where it is evidently clear that Yakubu has sold Nigeria to Tinubu, they are not protesting. What APC whose national leader Tinubu, the current purported President-elect, has done to Nigeria will take decades to repair. Yet he bought his way into President-elect. No one is protesting for that. And they are deceiving us with paid protesters. You can only deceive some people sometimes but you can never deceive all the people all the times.
The Tinubu you blame for "decades" of damage has never held national office as yet, while you absolve Emefiele, the CBN governor for the last 9 years, of all the wreckage his utterly inane policies have wrought? Was it Tinubu who forced Emefiele at gunpoint to introduce a currency change no one asked for and his own staff knew they weren't prepared for?

You are a textbook example of how tribalism rots the mind. It is thanks to tribal-warriors like you that utter failures of Emefiele's rank have managed to bring the country to its knees economically, secure as they are that there are hordes of bigoted drones like you eager to excuse and deflect their most manifest failings onto someone of another tribe or religion.

The blanket refusal by all the "Obidients" to condemn the indisputable incompetence and financial recklessness of Godwin Emefiele is all the evidence one needs that their claims to want "competence" in governance are all a bunch of lies. Emefiele is as blatant a case of incompetence as it is possible to imagine, so awful that The Economist was already lambasting him for it back in 2015, yet here we have all the same agitators for "competence" trying their pathetic best to shift the blame for the devastation he has wrecked on 200 million Nigerians to anyone else, even to a man whose highest public position was governor of a single state back in 2007. No honest person can pretend that all of this is motivated by anything other than tribalism, all the lofty rhetoric notwithstanding.

Do not be deceived, Emefele,Tinubu and buhari are all pretending. Buhari bring out this policy to make gullible citizens to think he is fighting Tinubu so that people will not think Buhari helped Tinubu to rig election

Yes, he can. The position of the Central Bank Governor is statutorily protected from political interference by even the President. The only other officials who enjoy a similar immunity to Emefiele are the judges on the Supreme Court. Good luck finding another justification for excusing your incompetent "kinsman" of the blame he richly deserves.
