They are respected and revered for their contributions to the industry and their ability to guide and mentor younger artists. Davido’s recent album features a track titled “Godfather,” in which he claims to be the new godfather of Nigerian music.

I prefer Davido to any other. But I wouldn't lie, burnaboy has stolen the mantle of afrobeats from everyone else.
The Davido album has more sweeter and catchy songs than Burna's last album, Love Damini.
But see the problem.
None of these Davido's songs would hit or touch the streets like LAST LAST.
None.

Also none of these Davidos songs would be as Epic, well composed and musically complete as FOR MY HAND FT. ED Sheeran.
None of Davidos songs in this album would get up to the level of those 2 hits from Burna boys last album.

Meaning Upon this Davidos new album, burna boy is still on top.

To make matters worse, burna boys single ALONE (The soundtrack for Black Panther).

Burna is the beast of music and afrobeats for past recent years.

Also consider this:
Buga was by far a sweeter/catchier song than LAST LAST the past year.

But guess what? LASTLAST was more accepted worldwide. Obviously becos or the Toni Braxton factor.
