Meet Alh. Ibrahim Mijinyawa (The Owner of SAHAD STORES)

He has never taken a bank loan.

Doesn’t rent accommodation for the location of his businesses.

He pays all his staff a daily token and offers free meal to them everyday throughout Ramadan fasting.

He pays yearly bonus to all staff.

He answers all phone calls and encourages whoever has his phone number to feel free to give it to whoever asks for it.

He has an open-door policy and he is always accessible to whoever wants to meet him.

His SAHAD STORES has 3 branches in Kano, 1 in Dutse, 2 in Abuja. The branches in Kaduna and Nassarawa States are now ready for official opening while that in Bauchi currently under construction.

He built a hospital in Abuja (a medical facility that is as big as Murtala Mohammed Hospital in Kano) - this will soon be opened.

He is married to 4 wives and has 19 children.

He doesn’t carry out adverts on his businesses, claiming people’s patronage already overwhelms him.

He relies on turnover, economies of scale, and marginal profit, not high prices.

He regularly increases his staff salaries.

He closes his businesses for some days once in a year to take stock of profits and pay the required Islamic Zakat (alms to the poor).

If you study this indefatigable businessman very well, you will detect that his philosophy revolves round the wellbeing of people and service to God. He is definitely a great man worthy of emulation by other business tycoons and Executives.

This writeup will do all of us a lot of good. Please share for wider reach.
