Barring last minute political considerations, a popular ex-Niger Delta Agitator and leader of the ‘Izon Tukpa Movement’, Great Joshua Maciver, will contest the gubernatorial election as running mate to Chief Timipre Sylva of the APC in Bayelsa State.

NAIJA LIVE TV reported that, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has published names of candidates to contest the November 11 governorship election in Bayelsa State.

The INEC had announced on Thursday that it would publish the personal particulars of the candidates participating in the governorship elections in Imo, Bayelsa and Kogi states.

He (David Lyon) would have won again if APC had given the ticket to him. The chances of Sylva winning against Douye Diri now would be small.

men with good background don rule. Nothing still come out. So last last is the heart of the man. The so called Joshua might be a better person compared to the previous deputy Governors. He seems smart and speaks good English wey better than David lyon. What sylva did is a political move, cos it will be so difficult for PDP to win southern ijaw now with Joshua by sylva's side.
