Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and adhering to financial regulations. Your role will involve maintaining the company's financial records, reconciling accounts, and assisting in budgeting and tax-related activities.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Ensure accurate daily data posting to maintain up-to-date financial records.
2. Conduct stock control activities by comparing physical inventory with registered data.
3. Prepare and review tax-related reports and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
4. Prepare weekly, monthly, and yearly financial reports and budgets, adhering to scheduled deadlines.
5. Follow up on receivables and work with the sales team to ensure timely client payments.
6. Maintain the company's financial records and filing system.
7. Adhere to the company's rules and regulations regarding expenditure and financial practices.
8. Conduct bank, supplier, and client reconciliations to ensure accurate financial transactions.
9. Monitor modifications and adjustments to financial records, reporting any potential fraud or discrepancies.
10. Review assets' value and depreciation postings to maintain accurate financial statements.

Key Attributes/Qualifications of Ideal Candidate:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
2. Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience as a financial accountant or in a similar role. ACA or ACCA equivalent certification is an advantage.
3. Excellent comprehension of accounting systems and proficiency in using accounting software such as Sage and QuickBooks.
4. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel in addition to proficiency in Sage accounting software.
5. In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures and proficiency in mathematics.
6. Prudent and solid time management skills.
7. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
8. Ability to learn quickly, multitask, and work efficiently.
9. Self-determined, confident, and proactive with excellent problem-solving skills.

Salary Range: ₦120,000 – ₦170,000
