As a technician, I can boldly say I only encounter dead panels from transsion devices more than any other, and its mostly power ic issues

You are right mostly tecno and infinix except few cases of itel. Some samsung too mostly the A series now are in line with the tecno.

At least I've used S9+, S21, 21 Plus, and 22 Plus and I've not had motherboard issues with any. My friend used S8 for probably about 3 years without motherboard issues. He's now on S10 without issues too. I generally don't know anyone that has had motherboard issues with Samsung. I'm sure there's people for every brand but it's not nearly that much of an issue. I've also never seen my friend have to change his screen because he seems to be careful like that.
Samsung screens are pretty expensive though because for now there are no copies like for iPhones.
