grin
I updated my Nokia G20 to android 12 ... The hotspot and WiFi stopped
Working
They sent me android 13

Still the same issue
I wish I didn't update it

Can't use xender
WiFi or hotspot

Will factory reset take me back to my precious Android 11 now?

Re: Regretted Updating My Phone by Westerhoffe(m): 6:47am On May 19, 2023
You can give Factory Reset a try, but I doubt it's going to change anything.

And your signature… not cool enough.

if Bluetooth also doesn't work then your problem is a busted IC

it's the update! I also regret updating anything, they ruined everything and put alot of restrictions. Imagine nor been able to assess your Android/ data folder you can't move or copy files from there. You just have to wait for a patched update to be released.

Don't restore the phone to factory settings, there are chances it might brick. Subsequent updates/security patches may resolve the issues. I have used Nokia 5.3 for 2 years plus without regrets

I'm using G20 and I used Android 12 before moving to Android 13.. phone used to lag before now , but it stopped after this update. I guess the update fixed it.

Always do a factory reset after a major update..

Not a rule but it helps.

Always try to Factory reset after a major update.
Re: Regretted Updating My Phone by Neachole(m): 2:06pm On May 19, 2023
Do not bother, A fa ctory reset will not take it back to the previous android version. What you can do is take it to a phone technician and tell them you wish to downgrade to android 11, they'll make it happen at a small price, all the best.

You meant "reboot" and not factory reset

Very wrong! Rebooting is the go-to after major upgrade, and not a factory reset. In fact, after a major upgrade your phone is meant to automatically reboot on it's own, if it doesn't it'll ask you to reboot now or reboot at a later time.

Maybe you did it the wrong way... To avoid stories like this most brands will prefer not to send updates like this maybe

it's not necessary you always update your phone even if you're receiving the update notifications. Update is in two ways either it fixes some issues on your phone, and add others or it destroys some functions on your phone. So it's not always recommended you always update your phone if your phone is working perfectly fine and okay, except only you having some specific issues on your phone that the update needs to fix.

He is very correct.
