Many Nigerian lecturers have various forms of mental disorders. They always act like a god towards students, yet they can't measure up to their peers in ordinary South Africa.Talking of The West is going far. |

These are Architecture students. A lot of people here now know better than the Lecturer in charge of the course. That's one of the schools that produce the best of Architects in Nigeria. This generation don't like correction. Mind you, those models are nothing to the students of Architecture more than regular class assignment and it is usually fun in the studio. How many models of Senior Architects were distroyed while in training of which they are better in practice today and people want to critic what you don't really know mush about. |

Johans2023: This mean you no nothing about construction. Those people are architects. In a sane country, architects draw, civil engineers design. No matter how beautiful a job is, without good structural design. It will have defects. What that lecturer did was pure rubbish. 1 Like |

What worth doing worth doing well. If every lecturer becomes very strict like this one, our children will wake up and we will stop having dead traps as building. |

Thanksful:so you expect him to accept every rubbish abi? Didn't you see him accepting others? People like you will not pick those failures as your architect if you have a building project but you want the lectural to just let them go. Truly, Nigerians are the problem of Nigeria. This is his field and he want one day those students should come back and take over his office. Will you like your dull child to take over your business? |
Re: Nigerian Lecturer Seen Destroying Students Projects (video? by Nobody: 3:14pm On May 19, 2023 |
Johans2023: He has no right in destroying the project. So he should tire a students book because the student failed a question. What nonsense are you talking about. Do you know the psychological effect of that action? Please get sense and stop defending rubbish. |

GloriousGbola: We recently acquired in my faculty a digital innovation studio with just 6-8 computer workstations (with server, software, inverter backup). It took some generous alumni to produce the 8million that made this a reality. So otherwise, you expect the dean of faculty to cough out 8m? From his own pockets or salary? Or he should use his children's school fees? After all, he is the father of education in Nigeria. You can't eat your cake and have it. Education is expensive. As long as Nigerians want social or welfare education, our institutions of higher learning will continue to "teach social studies instead of government and intro tech instead of physics". Nigerians don't even care anyway. It's almost as if no one really expects you to be able to defend the certificate you are holding-just have one. All media outlets and persons on the street were talking about the ASUU strike while it lasted, everyone went haywire when government promised to increase ASUU salary and subsequently took to the courts to force them back to work. Well, it's been almost a year since then without the government keeping their promise and yet, no word from parents, newsmen or even students. Until the next strike action. 1 Like 1 Share |

Architects in the building can relate. Na there I learn not to be emotional again, the feelings after each studio sessions, internal and external presentations remain blank, expressionless, we even had a lady weep because her traced papers were cancelled and she had to start all over but for the guys, we dey chest their attitude... |
