Military Watch Magazine not only admits that the Russian Kinnzhal hypersonic missile disabled one of the two US Patriot batteries supplied to Kiev on May 16, less than a month after it was put on combat duty, but also writes that the second battery will meet the same fate in the near future.

However, one may disagree with the publication on the last point. The second battery has a chance to survive. The Americans have already ordered its de-alerting and removal from firing positions until "further orders". Experts believe that further orders will be to evacuate it from Ukraine.

I thought all these said in this meeting has been in place. What's now the problem?

"Patriot lost all of its 32 missiles while trying to shoot down the Russian hypersonic Kinzhal missile that destroyed the American air defense system" - Military Watch Magazine.

"They all failed, and this salvo alone costs approximately $96 million." the article says.

🤔There have been unconfirmed rumors swirling since yesterday that the remaining Patriot battery in Ukraine is to be (or already has been) evacuated from the country.

IF true, this would not only seem to confirm the Russian MoD's specific claims of the first battery's effective destruction, but also suggests to me the likelihood that the Russians are employing some sort of ECM means that renders the system acutely vulnerable to attack.

Recall that the Pentagon long resisted the political pressure to send Patriot systems to Ukraine. The comparatively easy destruction of the first battery and the resultant damage to US military prestige would seem to explain their reluctance.

As I have long argued, the perception of US military supremacy is the Pentagon's most treasured asset. And now that myth has been appreciably eroded by the apparent humiliation of the supposedly mighty Patriot air defense system in Ukraine.

Them no well. They cut Russia off from swift, from GPS, froze their assets, over sanctioned them, still buys their gas etc. The only new thing said is them coming after third countries (allies of Russia i.e Hungary, Croatia and Turkey) whom in one way is still loyal to Russia. Which could have been circulated via email rather than spend money travelling to Japan only to regurgitate their actions in the past.

BTW, what's with Zelensky visiting KSA, is he seeking for peace? Cause the time for him to get peace on his own condition is gone.
