What does it matter. Thank God for Muslim-Muslim ticket. God bless Nigeria. The real curse is if God had allowed the dark omen of that man always in Black to have won the Presidential election.

Now I know why education is very important; It broadens ones mind. The so-called Islamic cleric was insensitive and ignorant to have uttered such statement. It's against the Islamic tradition (and even Yoruba custom) to speak ill of the dead. But typical of most Salafi Muslims, they always throw the bath water away together with the baby. Secondly, the fact that his statement was neither backed by any Quranic verse nor hadith is an indication that he was speaking from the position of ignorance. These are some of the clerics that makes one ashamed of being called a Muslim. May Allah (SWT) have mercy on him.


Murphy's wife vituperations was totally uncalled for. It was crass, vile and outrightly barbaric. It shows that how contemptous she regards Muslims in Yoruba land. And from her response, one can deduce that she lacks home training else nothing gives her the temerity to lambast a whole generation of Muslims like that. The Alfa's statement was merely an excuse to release the pent up contempt. Nobody should tell me that she's grieving o because there's a Yoruba adage that says; 'Taa ba n sukun, aa ma riran' which roughly translates as whenever we're crying, we should still open our eyes to see.
