This is the most honest, sad, educating and thought provoking engagement I have watched by a governor in Nigeria.

Cross Rivers State governor, Ben Ayade really got me to listen attentively.

Say what you like about Ayade, it is clear the man knows his brief.
His responses convey a level of depth and clarity that is uncanny within the ranks of Nigerian governors.

Ayade is the worst governor in the history of Cross River State. This man knows how to speak english,that's what make him a professor.

In terms of development,I score him 0. Uyo is more cleaner and business friendly than Calabar.

Stop comparing Akwa Ibom to Cross River State. The former took the latter's oil wells and that made Akwa Ibom among the top (sometimes, the highest) federal allocation earners in the country.

As for Ayade, his loss of senatorial election shows his people don't want him. How can an APC governor be crying that his state was militarized? Who controls the military again? PDP? 😤

you guys should visit cross river. So you will know this man is worst than a yahoo governor. He is a complete scam. He's intelligent in scamming. With the way he answered those questions someone who is not in cross river state will believe the scammer. All those factories he mentioned are not working except the garment factory.

It's funny how people hail this as a sound performance from Ayade, even when it's obvious man is lying in most of his responses and in some cases, cleverly avoiding the questions. You deny figures released by NBS, deny figures contained in statement released by your own SA and funnily said a whole estate you built for Bakassi people was destroyed during end sars. Man thinks his sweet talking and knowing his way with the English language changes what and how his people experienced his government which explains his massive loss during his senate contest. You wake up one day and sink billions into a poultry project, was there no feasibility study done before project commencement for you to have known you'll need a certain amount of soya beans to be able to keep the poultry running? Only here will politicians argue against facts and people will support them because they are sweet talkers.

Ayade is sound and thoughtful. Maybe has good visions for the state. But truth is that he failed.

I just like listening to him. This interview is thought provoking, he still lies all through.
