Job Title: IT Support Officer

Salary: N103,000Net to N135,000Net plus other benefits
Qualification: HND or BSC in Computer Science


Monitor computer system performance to ensure proper operation
Attends to reported issues and problems by user community in a timely manner as referred by Service Desk Officers/Lead
Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems
Liaises with Service Desk to manage and resolve issues and problems arising from day to day operations
Provide technical support for software and hardware maintenance or use
Escalates irresolvable and critical issues to the third level as required
Handle all second level issues from users
Provides feedback to User Support Lead and Service Desk on a regular basis
Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software
Liaises with the vendors to resolve issues on technology infrastructure
Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications
Document operational activities
Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support
Collaborate with others to resolve information technology issues
Proper evaluations of software/hardware and recommend improvements / upgrades
Recommend changes to improve computer or information systems
