True though. I got my card like that in 2019 at GTB Ajah branch.
However, I think it’s peculiar to some branches especially in Lagos at that time.

It started in Lagos. Before you did yours, at least 50 different branches of the same bank had already done it.

In fact, UBA in Lagos has been doing it more than a year ago.

I really do not know where you are going with this and you can't be sure since you are not everywhere!
It could have been installed in lagos state just like the state I reside or any other state with a GTB branch...I only made use of it last year after my previous ATM expired!

You can print your NIN CARD yourself. I printed mine myself. I have them in plastic card. I said them because I printed both the standard and enhanced cards. I have the soft copy in my mailbox. I have printed for other people too.
Once you have your NIMC app activated. You are good to go.
My VOTER'S CARD update was done online with my phone including photograph capture and I went to my ward ti collect my new card before election.
This government made a lot of improvements but their information department is sleeping.

got mine within 5 minutes in 2019 from Stanbic bank. the extra 4 minutes was for activation. It only takes 1 minute to get the ATM card

To get an atm with fidelity will take you minimum 5days and another day to come and complain the card doesn’t work online. Very stupid bank

Na GTB start am, I don collect new ATM card at 9pm on a Sunday.

Which kind UBA, i have been going to UBA EKSU branch for almost a month now just to get ATM 💳.
