well I started with them 2011 and they have so far proved to be the worst bank. Reason I haven’t left them is just chance to go set up another account.

This is not new, UBA has been issuing instant card since 2018, ditto for other banks I've been using aside UBA. I have similar experience with Stanbic and Eco.
Development just reach this dude side

Lol I was about to say that...wasted time on the queue at GTBank...when it was my turn...the lady said the machine outside can print your card lol...done and dusted. No more expired card

UNION BANK what are you waiting for, I have been visiting Union Bank branches for ATM cards for almost two months now and still could not get a debit card for my account.

GTB and Zenith used to be the king of technology in the banking sector until their tech guys started dumping them due to poor pay and bad work environment.

My Fcmb card has always been printed instantly for as far as I can remember. Atleast over 8 years. The customer service people have a little machine on their desk that instantly prints it out.

Gtb for my area failed to drop ordinary master cards for customers saying itss not ready yet??

I was in school then.
Went for counter withdrawal, and I was directed to go upstairs and apply for card.

I went upstairs and got my ATM card same day.

GTBank has been doing this for like 2 years now. I printed my current gtb ATM myself over a year ago. Less than 2 minute.

I deposited after closing hours at the Firstbank at Navy Town in Alakija.
First Bank gallery as far back as 2010.
...withdraw money from ATM without card.

Banks have been innovative since ages.
GTB's 737 isn't the first mobile banking service...they were probably the first to give out Naira mastercard
