It is a futile exercise. Sirika just want to have a legacy by all means but the truth is that government cannot successfully manage a business especially Nigeria. |

money121:A very incompetent minister. You will never appreciate the damage done to the industry by this minister if you are not stakeholder in the industry. You asked yourself why this rush few days to change of government? We have three airlines taken over by AMCON and why can't we make use of these ones since it's fully government owned now. Check the money invested on this project so far and the Aviation ministry is bedevilled with monumental corruption. |

I will not fly Nigerian Air that's maintained by the public sector. One minister will embezzle the funds to properly maintain the aircraft and hire half baked pilots from his ethnic group and send hundreds of people to early grave |
Re: Airlines Sue Sirika As Nigeria Air Planes Arrive Today by Nobody: 11:42am On May 26, 2023 |
MasterTeeUSA:The problem is discipline, because soon minister would be sending notes to the Airline "oya carry my daughter" , and we also have a yeye mentality of seeing government asset as nobody asset, the Nigeria Government shouldn't have a stake sef, rather institution like those Pension Administrators should and the general public. |

P1PrinceKT:Sirika had eight years to actualize the Nigeria Air project, first, as minister of state Transportation in charge of aviation and later as full minister of Aviation, but he didn’t. Now, he is in a hurry to deliver two aircrafts so he can have something to cover up for billions of dollars pumped into the project. From the beginning, the project was programmed to fail, just like the defunct Nigerian Airways, due to the corrupt tendency of government officials. By the court order, the wastage on the Nigeria Air project should have ceased, and if need be, let the incoming government determine the propriety or otherwise of a new national carrier. More like last minutes looting. |

Kingbuhari:The airline owners are silly then... How well have they managed their own airlines and what kind of services are NIger4ians getting? It should have even been 90% Ethiopian. We just desperately need a functional airline in Nigeria. |
Re: Airlines Sue Sirika As Nigeria Air Planes Arrive Today by MasterTeeUSA: 2:52pm On May 26, 2023 |
That problem of discipline you just highlighted buttress the point why we shouldnt be the major stakeholder. Let Ethiopian Airline run, maintain and remit forex. Case closed. jackcanfield: |
