I had 5 first class in my set. I narrowly missed out  . Only one get better job. 2 are lecturers, 2 dey work for average companies. First-class pre-2015 had good jobs as jobs were plentiful and the economy grew. From 2015 till date, it became uber-competitive as jobs were not plentiful and schools churned out graduates yanfu-yanfu. Nevertheless, first class graduates have brighter chances, all things being equal, in getting good jobs and especially foreign scholarships. Some embassies prioritise your application if you have a first class. 2 Likes |
