Everyone brace up for higher taxes, tolling , name it...

Cur down on cost fire...we will all bear the brunt..

Well Nigeria has to find the money somewhere with all current revenue going towards debt servicing, the citizens will have to bear the brunt.

That I why I said yesterday that opposition parties should sort themselves out and start their jobs as opposition in earnest because things are going to be rough going forward and vast swathes of Nigerians will give them a listening ear.

Which Tinubu go cut cost of governance?

The one that moves with 50 cars in his convoy anywhere he's going? The one that set the trend back in 2009 for ex-governors getting unreasonably high packages from their states' hard-earned tax payers money as retirement bonus after only 8years as governor when civil servants doing the real hard for 35 years get only 60% of their salariess? Is that the one that will begin now to learn to economize for you?
Dey play

Ok oo.

From all what has been revealed with this election, I simply accept that Nigerians are unfortunately not ready for the good change we're asking for. Otherwise, why would an healthy and educated adult with no history of drug offense be canvassing for a Tinubu unashamedly ahead of obviously better Osinbanjo, Peter Obi, etc?

That is because they elect leaders they cannot control. Can you employ a driver you cannot caution. And what will your friends think of you if they see you constantly 'appealing' to your servant to do what is right, what you employed him for. That is how other nationals see us.

I am glad the wording of the Bishop's message is 'tasks', not pray or appeal or hope as some of his fans say. Because come Tuesday the 'tasking' will start from well meaning Nigerians. The heat is on.

That's my hope too... But, will these suffering citizens pocket their religious and ethnic biases to get this done?!!

That remains the unending and recurring question in Nigeria!

Division remains the tool of poor leaders to hide under the radar of their underachievement!

Tinubu should see to the full implementation of the Steve Oransaye's report that PMB's administration started.. There are so many Ministries, Departments and Agencies in Abuja with similar mandates that can be merged to reduce cost of governance. Even all those Police Affairs, Humanitarian and Disaster whatever are not necessary. He should digitalize the service too so that the cost of stationeries, pen, folders etc. will reduce across board.
