This is the newly adjusted pumps
price for petrol nationwide.

Jagabanites, how market❓

APC government made it look as if
they were doing Nigerians a favor by
subsidising fuel, trying to cover the fact
that subsidy is a result of inept governance
that allowed all our refineries to die under
the incompetence of Buhari and his inept,
corrupt Fulani and Kanuri appointees.

Under PDP, all our refineries were working but
at reduced capacity & some fuel was
being imported to make up the shortfall.

Under APC, we began importing 100%
of our Petrol, causing subsidy to go through
the roof.

So why didn't PDP make our refineries operate at full capacity then?

Like the APC people excuse their failures, the PDP people too are excusing their failures.

At the end of the day, the decline in the refineries started in the 1990's when we began missing TAM. By 2011, we were producing at one sixth the level we were in the 1980s.

The decline of the refineries was already happening, and both PDP and APC messed up by not temoving subsidy in 2012, and 2016 respectively.

The problem with maintaining subsidy is that the refineries do not make enough profit to keep themselves running well. That is why they were depreciating...from the 1990's onwards.

All Buhari had to do in 2015 was to remove subsidy, but he did not. GEJ should have told Nigerians to go and sit down and remove subsdy in 2012, but he did partial removal.

And I am not a Tinubu or Buhari supproter, and have been backing subsidy removal since 2011.
