Any advocate on fuel subsidy should convince the Nigerian people why President Tinubu should embark on a present illegality that gulped $10 billion of our scarce or unavailable resources in 2022 alone.

Those claiming to defend the right or welfare of workers should convince the Nigerian people that $10 billion injected into the economy yearly will not jumpstart the economy enough as to create massive jobs and even increase the same minimum wage they complain about.

Anything to move our Darling country forward is all we want at [/b].

You lack education at all. It is only normal that when subsidy is removed gasoline price will go up. It is not about the IPMAN being evil. Even NNPC has adjusted their prices to reflect reality

@nairalanda1

Please, has the government removed subsidies now or just increased the price Nigerians pay for fuel?

If subsidies have been removed now, is your position that subsidies will never be introduced again?

If you are not sure whether subsidies will be introduced again, what was the benefit of all the previous subsidy removals and what do you think the benefit of this removal will be?

Bluntemperor:

Mr Ajaero is a Labour Party stooge, who wants relevance of NLC in the New Tinubu's Govt!
Nigerians wouldn't forget that for over 8-yrs in Buhari's Tenure,Labour Leaders were silent,as they hear nothing and see nothing and were busy fighting themselves to become NLC President or Vice- so much in- fighting!
Now, let's ask them what has changed?
Where are the Pensioners, whose hope have been dashed since labour leaders that should have advanced their fears failed them?
Why have they not approached Buhari, since he have been increasing the Federal Workers Pay,yet NLC,could not make haste, until the President left Abuja to a new govt, whose Budget is devoid of Petroleum Subsidies! So,who is deceiving who?
What happened to thousands of Pensioners that their Cases are in Courts and have been hanged in the Judicial process of adjunment over adjustments, some up to 5yrs,10yrs,11yrs,etc,yet Nigeria's are in galloping Inflation, where they go to the same Market with Labour Leaders who feel unconcerned!
If the Nigerians suffering did not move Labour Leaders then, how come they are now coming out within the 3- days of Tinubu's Govt?
Most of our labour leaders are Politicians in disguise and are only after their pockets!
Shame!

I don't even know the NLC chair but I witnessed the riot by Tinubu and Buhari on why Goodluck Jonathan removed subsidy in 2012, after the removal, PMS was even N140/litre then.

What tables are turning? The tables have been turned against Yorubas since Nigeria was created and they have thrived regardless.

Only those who don’t know the history of the country won’t know that.

This is the first time a real Yoruba is ruling Nigeria in the history of the country - so whatever happens after him would be business as usual.

I thought πŸ€” sounded learned go check ur facts before saying this is the first time a yoruba is ruling this country who handed to yara'dua was the person not elected or u mean to tell me the person is not of yoruba

So ur God Tinubu didn't know all this in 2012 when He used propaganda and protest to destroy Jonathans government , even then with the removal of subsidy fuel sold around #149 to #180, compare it to what fuel is selling now with his own removal. Yet ur God @Buhari and Tinubu used hate, propaganda, protest, bokoharam to destroy Jonathans government. Clap for urself bloody hypocrite. Same way @Bat said in 2015 Muslim Muslim ticket wld not work in Nigeria but went ahead to pick a Muslim Muslim ticket in 2022. Now it's clear he didn't want to become vice to Buhari and Buhari wouldn't want to become vice to him. They both wanted to rule as president, Thus coming up with then that Muslim Muslim ticket won't work in Nigeria. They both had everything planned out since 2015 and they use hypocrite like you to push their agenda online. Keep supporting evil my friend. Personally I don't have any issues with subsidy removal even though I know they will still embezzle the funds but Tinubu the deceiver should first tender a lengthy apology to Good luck Jonathan for rubbishing his government

I,am in support of subsidy removal 100 percent.
Greedy marketers and their cohorts can raise the prices of petrol to 2k a litre of they so wish .
As dangote refinery resumes full swing , these artificial increase will be swept in the bud.
Most of these useless marketers won't even be alive to witness fuel prices been sold at less than 200 naira.
