Football, a very funny game. We all thought Flying Eagles' finishing as one of the "Best Losers" in the group stage would be a bad omen to their progress in the tournament, especially when they were drawn against the host nation, Argentina, who were beating their previous opponents blue and black. If all the ball possessions could be converted to goals, Argentina could have easily won the match but it was a day for the Flying Eagles. Congratulations to Nigerian lads. Wish you all the best. |
