Both the Candidates of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar and Bola Tinubu of the APC did not meet this constitutional requirement.

It is now left for the nation’s judiciary to interpret this contentious section of the constitution as both the PDP and LP challenge the election victory of the APC at the presidential Election Court sitting in Abuja.
