Chief of Staff to former President Muhammadu Buhari, Professor Ibrahim Gambari, has handed over to his successor, Home Femi Gbajabiamila.

The handover ceremony, which took place at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, followed the announcement of Hon Gbajabiamila as Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, last Friday.

The brief event, which was caught on a muted video clip, also featured President Tinubu coming in after the handing over to pose for a photo session with the duo.

Femi Gbajabiamila will make a good Chief of Staff to President Tinubu. Chief of Staff is Chief of all Cabinet members including Ministers and political appointees in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. I have no doubt that the energetic and experienced Hon. Gbaja will do well in office.

I'll like to appeal that key Ministries like Industry, Innovation be given priority to drive industrial growth in Nigeria. The population of graduates without job is on all time high and alarming, yet we have so many avenues to create jobs and generate wealth through Industry.
Our leaders should take a cue from developed countries and see how industrialized they are. We must move from just selling raw materials and crude oil to real manufacturing for sustainable economic development.
