Crooks everywhere, immediately this uncalculated man made the pronouncement, all filling station within my visinity adjusted to 500 naira, some were even selling 550,600
Wicked fuel station owners, why are they now crying, I know the government have paid this subsidy to some certain period which is expected that Nigerians will benefit, but that statement turned everything the other way, when someone says I will remove immediately, immediate can be next week, next month etc Nigerians are evil, the government evil, nothing is working

when you are selling to Nigeria at 500 to 700 you didn't complain, now that you have to restock at 480+ you are complaining, what are you expecting that they will keep selling to you at old price while you sell at new 500+ price?
all of them are bloody greedy. grin

These marketers are thieves. They want to keep getting fuel at old rates which is less than #200 while they are already selling to Nigerians at over #500. IPMAN is an association of crooks.

Both the nnpcl and the marketers are corrupt criminals. They are the reason ordinary people are made to pay more for something God blessed us freely with.

Even if the marketers gets the products for the old rate, they will still sell it to is for the new price thereby making excess profit. This is a case of "dog eat dog"

Expect price to increase from 550 to 600, 650. If marketers are buying at 480, when they add logistics and other echetram echetram things grin on it, then price will go up

What NNPCL is doing by pegging the price is unconstitutional, an affront on the right of petrol businesses and a shameless display of double standards.
Subsidy is an organised crime that the government orchestrated, but now have no idea on how to control it. It's like the government budgeted for 15 thieves, but now thieves are 150 in number and the government can not reveal them without revealing its own thieving status.
NNPCL are the biggest thieves in all of these, it's surprising EFCC and ICPC aren't going after these people. Nigerian leaders are corrupt, lazy and bereft of ideas to fight corruption.

NNPCL is now a private enterprise and not a government agency anymore. They can't be the sole importer of fuel. They can't be the determinant of fuel prices since subsidy no longer exist...

Government is always insincere in its policies and they can never be trust especially with this APC government.

Nigeria, a country where the government depends on the masses to generate income for them. After which the leaders will just pocket everything. What a shame..

NNPCL now playing to the gallery. But to start with, have the masses come to think of the individual's called petroleum marketer's. It's still them them. E.g. the Otedola's, Dandote's and the likes. Robbing peter to pay paul.

This thing is a scam - well organised.

Each time they want to hike the price of fuel, as a means of extorting money from the poor masses to run the corrupt system, they deceive us with this subsidy thing.

Nigeria is broke! Totally broke! They need money by all means. In the coming months or years they will use the same formula to extort money from the poor citizens. They will say it was partially removed.

You can't truly deregulate and still continue to fix the price of PMS - that's regulation.

In these case Deregulation is for the time being, NNPC is the sole importer of the last stock nigerians are consuming, when competitiors step in with there own product ... NNPC will stop fixing price.
NDMPRA as offered to issue License to private investors until then NNPC wil keep regulating

Is there any special status of NNPCL to Nigeria now?.
Pls, someone should educate me. in own opinion, NNPCL is a private company that is answerable to its shareholders NOT to Nigerians as it were a national agency.

When we were warning you guys before the election about the danger of Tinubu being a bundle of gaff, you guys thought we were just hating.

After seeing the current crisis Tinubu's gaff in his inaugural speech has caused, I am sure you have realized that we were right all along.

Meanwhile, it is criminal for NNPCL to increase petrol price when they are still selling old stock with the excuse that they need the money to purchase new stock. That's not how business is done.
How is business done?
Phone sellers that bought phones when dollar was 600+, they increased the price of the phones to reflect the current price as dollar skyrocket to 740...

I changed the screen of w4 at 6k, 3months later price climbed to almost 10k...
All na old stock..

What do u know about business?

Please, someone should educate me. in own opinion, NNPCL is a private company that is answerable to its shareholders NOT to Nigerians as it were a national agency. in another words, NNPCL is not government operated entity. Is it?

The NNPCL fixed her own price, how does that affects or determines other companies' prices. the government should set price limit at which no entity should compromise, including NNPCL.

Many components make up the fuel price. Freight cost, Bridging Fund cost, Marine transport average, Transporters allowance, Administration charges etc. With Dangote Refinery in Lagos, some of them will be eliminated and will drive the fuel price downward although may be not significantly.
One private refinery cannot service 36 states ooo
Please be realistic
Also dangote is not running charity
If anything you will purchase pms at the same or higher rate
With a lower population we had four refineries
Texas alone has over 50 private refineries
