We were able to finish up the concrete works yesterday as planned. We budgeted about 250Bags of Cement for the ground beam works. We ended up using 258 total with the Base casting included.

We are starting the filling of the foundation today.

Details of this foundation.
Estimated cost 14.4m
Foundation height is 1.5meters or 5 boards as you may call it.
Foundation dimension width is 13meters by 19.5meters in length.
Filling of foundation is estimated to cost about 20 Trips of 20 Tons Sharp sand.

Bags of Cement for entire foundation work is estimated to cost 435Bags. Of which 258 was used for the ground beam (base and Raft)... And 30 For Blinding. The remaining would be for the foundation slab concrete works.

The formwork and reinforcement make up a large portion of the foundation Budget while sharp sand and granite followed suite... We estimated 8 trips of 20 Tons granite and sharp sand.

Sharp sand here is 95K while granite here is 195K for each 20 Tons respectively

We experienced some delays on the filling due to estate rules of no truck being allowed into the estate for 24 - 48hrs if rain falls at any day.

However, we have resumed filling and will be done with it today. To do compacting today as well because rain that has fallen in recent times have helped us to make the building set.

According to our timeline and plan, we ought to be doing concrete slab today but 3 days were lost already this week due to rain and estate rules. However, we move and see how much time we can catch up. Our target is to get to Decking before this month ends and complete it.

Filling is now 100% completed.
We used a total of 22 Trucks of 20 Tons
