As the struggle for control of the National Assembly continues, the Leadership Newspaper reported this morning that there are signs of new efforts to replace Honourable Tajudeen Abbas with a different candidate as the preferred candidate for the speakership position of the House of Representatives. In the absence of a last-minute change of heart, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) would introduce their new candidate, according to information obtained by LEADERSHIP newspaper yesterday.
