You're even quoting 95. I think I recall seeing somewhere that it's 87 octane as what is used in Nigeria. I believe given the Nigeria factor, we probably don't get up to 87 octane
Damn it.
Not even 87.
Let's see what dangote refineries will produce

Toyota Corolla 2013 LE
Average mpg 26.6
My Target is 400Miles (643km) wink

Please can we have an update, using the same ride but no money to fill the tank. I don't think you can get up to 300 miles.

here is the update as at this morning (just 70 miles of highway driving) .

official range is 385 miles. I have gotten up to 360miles (mostly highway driving) and I always drive with my AC on. Is your check engine light on? Also I stay in the north, decent roads and no traffic (Except at traffic lights).

Thanks brother, mine is 10 liters for 55 miles. That means a full tank of 40 liters can only travel 220 miles. Obviously something is wrong with the vehicle. Check engine light is ON and indicates P0440 and P0442 (Evaporative emission, small leak). The repair requires introducing smoke in the fuel line to detect the leak but then no mechanic seems to have capacity of handling it in PortHarcourt.

Oga Gazzuzz, do you work on Acura. I recently travelled to Ibadan and back to Lagos. My highway Mpg was 13.1. I really need to have this fixed because I don Dey “suffocate” like this.

Boss, please my mpg is too poor.

2007 Toyota corolla. And I barely get 200miles with 40 liters. And this is highway drive.

I scanned the car today and got the codes below.

Apart from the misfire code, can the other codes cause such a poor mpg?

Please advise me o before this car send to the village in this fuel subsidy era.

Lol. And I thought my acura was worse. On highways I can see my mpg reading 8.5.
But City drive, it is always high.

I really don't know but it's over 50 litters (with reserve).

Low fuel warning light finally came on at 378miles (606km). angry The above 2 things I believe got in the way.

Vehicle stats:
Car: 2017 Accord EX
Engine displacement: 2.4L
Transmission: CVT
Tank capacity: 65L
AC: Always on except cold mornings.

MPG for this run: 28.2 (city/highway)

I'll refuel and track again. Still shooting for 400miles.
CVT transmissions mehn. shocked

I haven't gone beyond the manufacturer's stats. It's rated mpg is 27 city or 37 highway.

With the removal of subsidy on pms, every one is now very conscious of the amount spent on fueling a vehicle.

How it works.

State vehicle model, engine size and transmission type.

State vehicle tank size . Know your vehicle tank size and fill up to first click and stop. Do not overfill.

Reset mileage to zero

Keep driving and when the amber light for reserve fuel comes up note the mileage again.

Post info here and compare with other owners of similar vehicles .

Let us individually upload and track our mpgs.

Kindly note that some cars are calibrated in KM and some in miles, so not mix it up.

You can also indicate if you drove in city or on the highways.

Open to all sizes of vehicles that use PMS (petrol)

Lexus IS350 2009 model.
6 plugs
Tank size? I haven't actually filled it up before. My place of work to my house isn't that far and I hardly go out except for work. Heard it could take up to 70litres.

Also have a Lexus RX 330 2006 model.
6Plugs.
Haven't also filled it to the brim.

All I know about my cars is that they are 6plugs each of them..

Just seen your reference on the epa.gov site. On closer inspection, I note that that 361 miles is for the V6. The range for the 4cyl is 464miles.

I have done 137 miles on 30 liters, please I need help to solve this Evaporative emission, small leak in Portharcourt. The fuel consumption is quite high.

Ofcos it is worse. Your 8.5mpg is poorer than his 13.1. And your highway ought to be higher than city mpg. That's how it should be ideally.

I made a mistake in the whole thing jare.
My car shows liter for every 100km. On the highway, I get 8.5 and sometimes 8 liters for every 100km.

While city drive, I get between 13 liters for every 100km to 17 sef.

The error is from me.

The name of the app is infocar. But it doesn't work alone. You have to connect it via Bluetooth to an OBD2 scanner.
