Criminals everywhere! There will be enough money for people in government to embezzle, especially at the federal level. What's the assurance the money will be used for the common good and the poor masses

Has Nigerian government ever helped the common man and poor masses? They havent and will not do so now

It's interesting how people not actually suffering keep telling those who have been suffering for decades to bear with the government!

Only children of 8, frustration, anger and perdition are against removal of fuel subsidy in Nigeria.

Subsidy is gone and gone for good, they can call for emergency meeting at third mainland bridge and each take a leap after the meeting.

It's a fraud. We already have Dangote refinery that is starting production this month. Don't tell me that the final cost of production will be the same as that imported from abroad.

Besides, what happened to the money already budgeted for it. It's already in the budget. Do you think that the government will account for the money?

Subsidy removal doesn't solve the problem of corruption in the oil sector. They are going for it because it's the low hanging fruit.
The corruption was targeted at government money with subsidy but with it's removal, the target is now our money.

Dangote refinery unfortunately will be used to perpetuate this corruption which will now be spearheaded by nnpc.

Just wait till crude oil price crashes and hear the endless excuses they will put out as the reason why we can't buy fuel cheaper.

If Tinubu want to help Nigerians, he should go after the corruption in the oil sector else we will be made to pay high to service corrupt individuals in government and in the oil sector.

Stupidity is when you decide to remain stagnant.

So because they opposed fuel subsidy removal in 2012,they must oppose it in 2023 and forever?
I hope you and your likes ,would just stop this continual but nonsensical referral to 2012.

Provide 24/7 electricity first before backing subsidy removal. Why compare us with sane countries that provide affordable electricity to their citizens, while over here in the zoo all businesses & households utilize petrol.

Wrong timing, good policy. Why must Nigerians suffer extreme hardship and losses any time the useless insensitive leaders make policies or decisions which are supposed to make the people happy? Before removing subsidy, did you first put one of the moribund refineries to work so that you can bypass and handicap the bourgeoisie and fuel importers? Bubu stopped importation of certain products without making room for adequate domestic production so as to meet domestic demand. At the end, your policies and decisions ALWAYS CAUSE INFLATION and untold misery to the dumb Nigerians. Yeye pipo

We want to comply but the government can't achieve two things at a time . It has to be done one after the other. The most important thing In. Life is food. Government should open borders, allow foods to enter. Provides means by which farmers would take their farm products to the market cheaply. Then we are good to go.

If food is out of poverty they said poverty is minimized

Also ,they should not forget that an hungry man is an angry man

If removal of subsidy affected all thing ,we must make sure that it have little effect of the food supply and the food should be affordable by all
