Moment of Power #611 - Countdown to Eternity [Part Three - Matthew 24:6-7]

"And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places." - Matthew 24:6-7

Christ predicted that in the last days, as we approach the end of the world and the dawn of eternity, there will be wars and conflicts in all nations. Despite international laws, treaties, and peace talks, the world's crisis will persist, especially in these times. These are all signs of the end, as Jesus had said.

As God's children, we should not be worried about the instability and global crisis raging in the world. Let us be comforted in knowing that our home is not in this world. Christ said he has gone to prepare a place for us in the heavenly kingdom of his Father. This is the assurance and hope of our salvation.

Therefore, we must awaken to the urgency of Christ's Second Coming and the end of the world. Do not be lured into spiritual drowsiness by those promising peace and a world without end. Let your heart cling to the promises of Christ and live your life in obedience and submission to the will of God and his commandments. Jesus Christ is coming soon.
