Poem For Those Battling Depression by ignis: 11:03am On Jun 14, 2023 |
In shadows deep, where pain resides, A battle fought with strength inside. To those who struggle, feeling low, This poem's for you, let courage grow. When darkness looms, and hope feels faint, Know you're not alone in this plaint. For many hearts have known this strife, Yet found the strength to change their life. Embrace the tears that gently fall, They cleanse the wounds and heal them all. Release the weight that burdens deep, Let go, surrender, find release. Seek out the light in every day, Though clouds may block its warming ray. In tiny sparks, let joy ignite, And conquer demons through the night. For every step may seem a chore, But progress lies beyond the door. In tiny victories, take pride, With each small stride, let strength abide. When shadows whisper, "You are weak," Know in your heart, it's lies they speak. Within your spirit, a flame shall rise, Illuminating hopeful skies. Reach out to others, share your tale, Let kindness bloom, like flowers frail. Together we can mend the cracks, And build a world where no one lacks. So hold on tight, dear soul, don't sway, A brighter dawn will come your way. Believe in love, believe in you, For battles fought will make you new. Remember, you're a warrior strong, And healing takes time, it's not a wrong. Embrace the journey, fierce and true, For you are loved, and we believe in you. Ignis |
