Toyota is good no doubt but there are also very good cars out there,for instance I bought a Nigerian used 2003 Acura RL and used it for 4 years without changing plugs,coil,fan belts,fuel pump,any type of sensor,ac compressor,alternator,infact I didn't even see the kick starter for 4 years,I started to wonder if it has kick starter,I decided to personally kill off the car by driving it for one year steadily daily without oil change still it survived and it didn't for one day refuse to start or stop on the road,I remove my cap for that car,the only issue it has is flood damage that makes it mad sometimes,you can put headlight on and AC will start blowing.mad car.

Benz Glk and venza both very reliable and never give issues. From my experience getting more than 1 ride makes them last longer and give less issue.

Toyota correct 2009, very reliable, just put key and drive nor worry about anything

Civic is a great car. 2008 and above have better fit and finish. The good thing is that the price is not crazy high.

You are going to like it. Due make sure you have a mechanic check the it before you buy (especially if it's a locally used one).

This car made me realize that if you buy a good car, you will forget where your mechanic's shop is. I only see him once in 3 months now. Just to change oil.

Me I just drive for pleasure, although at that point in my life I was working at Illela and I had been officially transfered to Calabar.
So I drove to our family house in Lagos ,dropped off some things and then drove the car to Calabar a few days later.
