Kano Demolition: Golden Monument designer expresses sadness https://247ureports.com/2023/06/kano-demolition-golden-monument-designer-expresses-sadness/ - Hajiya Kaltume Gana, a renowned artist and designer of the famous Kano Golden Jubilee Monument, has condemned the demolition of the aesthetically designed structure by Kano State Government. The multi-million naira monument was constructed by immediate past Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje’s administration in 2017 to commemorate Kano 50th anniversary as State in the Nigerian federation. The unique edifice was engraved in traditional models of Kano entry gates and with artistic works depicting Hausa cultural heritage. |
