when you say others should come on board as healthy and fair competition " I believe the supreme court appointment process is heavily political, the fact the north has so many numbers tell you that, can we say they produce the most intelligent lawyers, the fact that the south south and south east are not adequately represented to me seems like deliberate marginalization. Yes "others" should just walk in there, is it not by appointment? Sometimes we see truth steering us in the face and still want to sound neutrally sanctimonious. Even if the vacancies above are filled some regions will have 5 while others have 3 but we choose to be blinded and at same time request for "fair competition".
