Arapmoi22:Amaechi has attainable the crest of political power, albeit at a younger age. The only higher position Amaechi could aspire to, it is the Presidency. Even in the next 40 years only about 5 Nigerians can be President. So not becoming President should never be considered a failure. tesppidd: You actually can respond to public discuss without trying to insult. Has APC that he superintends in River's State won elective positions to show Amaechi's political influence? If yes, fine. If no why? The main problem with Amaechi is his political negligence (negative emotions) he allowed to make him resent the winner of APC presidential primary. That vacuum he created by resentment of his gave Wike the wide room to take over APC and PDP in Rivers state. So, where is the grassroot left for Amaechi? Who couldn't step into Aso Rock when Wike is walking in and out seamlessly. If you don't want to know, he needs a grassroot to negotiate influence at the national level. Wike has taken away chunk of the areas Amaechi had. Wike will remain relevant while Amaechi is going into extinction. I am not here to argue with you. tesppidd: Is there any successful politician without a cult followership? Can you beat your chest and say Amaechi is the Kwakwanso of Rivers' State? He knows what he lost - both his base and support from the centre. Wike used support from the centre to get Amaechi off the driving seat in Rivers (Remember all the pressure from Jonathan using Wike). Amaechi's left relevance was his connection to the centre under Buhari. He should have manage that connection after losing Presidential Primary to Tinubu.
