The idea of a “national carrier” in the 21st century is DUMB…
BUT THERE IS NOTHING UNUSUAL ABOUT THIS SITUATION!

The usual process is to incorporate the company (by the Sponsor)…
And thereafter share subscription, shareholders, management, and other agreements are negotiated and executed.

oh really. What happened to Nigeria air then. If they go for air peace. Some people will say agenda. If they go for max air or any other north owned airways we in the south will cry fulani agenda. Nothing wrong if a neutral party runs it. Instead of taking Ethiopia air that first goes to addis ababa. It will be going directly to usa, uk, canada etc.

Yemen that have been destroyed still have functioning aircrafts while Nigeria government is fooling themselves.

Yemen airline will be transporting passengers to Saudi.
Shame on Nigeria government.

valuation of the Bilateral Air Services Agreements as part of the Federal Government’s contribution to the project; provide clarity on the status of local airlines currently operating regional and international routes, given the request for total rights over all the existing BASAs; and “the deletion of the clause that waives sovereign immunity by Nigeria.”

They will sell Nigeria if we waive sovereign immunity in any business done in Nigeria.

Truth is gradually coming out.
So there was no deal in the first place and millions of dollars were spent in the project called Nigeria air that has no legal framework.

This people really mean to run this country aground but they won't succeed
People who saw through the shady deal and spoke against it were all tagged IPOB and "enemies of Nigeria"

Here we are now

The spread na , even the work people do in Nigeria is segregated, I don't know who send Lord Lugard to us , abi have you seen Hausa or Fulani man sell motor spare part .. once the spread is even and the F.G can swing it's own stake base on performance and profitability. Who wan collect stake if money is coming. It is not every time we have to go to Havard and Wharton, sometimes it's good to use our native intelligence for our peculiar situations.

Dangote is a Dantata, he changed his name just for business and to evade the consequences of previous business gone wrong.

provide clarity on the status of local airlines currently operating regional and international routes, in view of request for total rights over all the existing BASAs
This is the crux of what I was saying about killing local airlines. Why will they hand over all BASAs to Ethiopia Air in the name of Nigeria Air?
This was a scam. End of story

I think all ministers of the aviation since the time of Femi fani-kayode show me probed because their levels of corruption is beyond any seen before. The corruption in buhari administration will really test the resolve of tinubu in charting a new course for the country. And by they I mean the people that Buhari really answers to (not the Nigerian people).
