I paid 40k for clearance and 40k school fees as a year one student
From year 2 to year 4 I paid 10k as school fees
Year 5 which was my final year, i paid 14k

I say big capital NO to the increment
It's so painful that people that enjoyed relatively free education are the ones championing for heavy increment in school fees

45K was what I paid as a fresher and it was just 9 years back.

In just ten years, the fee has increased by almost 2000 percent

Hmm... increment of school fees after introducing student loan.
This is pure rubbish! They want many students to apply for the student loan...another money making venture for Tinubu. May God punish every person that supports this.

Anyway, no student of Covenant Uni, Baze Uni, American University of Nigeria, etc would want to leave their school for Uniben either. So I guess the thought is mutual.

During my time in UNN 2006-2010,
1st year= 31,000
2nd year=27,000
3rd year=21,000
Final year=18,000
Faculty of business administration.
A plate of food on campus was N60 later increased to N80. Naija don cast finish.

Yes o.. Many private universities are relatively affordable now with zero strike action or cultism.

Maybe they want to encourage yahoo on a maximum scale. If the federal government genuinely want to increase fees, then the government should start with northern universities.
