This should have been the first action and not subsidy removal |

Medicine after death. Now that subsidy has been removed. It’s useless. |

IketownNigeria: Only illiterates compare Nigeria to Saudi Arabia and Qatar. The population of Saudi Arabia is less than 40 million. Lagos alone is more than 20 million. If you have a family of 5 and the family income is 1million per month, it’s different from a family of 20 with monthly income of 1 million. Obviously, the family of 5 will be doing better than the family of 20 1 Like 1 Share |

If we are consuming 60 million litres of PMS per day by their (NNPC) own computation, why would you allow the release of 98 million litres per day?” NCS had queried. Above is why subsidy had to go. 60 million for actual domestic consumption The rest for smuggling across the border....and for sales at a profit. The thing was so entrenched that talkless of bulding a border wall, there was no way it could be stopped. Well, it's ended now. We cannot be subsidising some nation's kpayo addiction. If only we had sense back in 93. |

“If we are consuming 60 million litres of PMS per day by their (NNPC) own computation, why would you allow the release of 98 million litres per day?” NCS had queried. This is why i laugh when people think this corruption don't run deep. You claim we consume 60 mill litres and end up releasing 98 mill litres. Almost 40 mill litres gone and eaten by NNpc and Co |

cjwalter: Much of the 40million is being smuggled across the border. And not just by big tankers, by hundreds of ordinary Nigerians. As Mele Kyari said, a tanker taken across the border can earn N30m profit. Mele Kyari , ever since he took office, has been calling for subsidy to end. |

Before subsidy, we can't be consuming more that 13 million liters but now @ N500 per liter, it would have reduced to 1.7 million liters |

IketownNigeria: No vex bros, but please reason am. Population of Nigeria is over 250 million. You can’t compare with a country with population less than 40 million. Apart from the oil, they make money from pilgrimages too. Bros, no make this comparison outside again 1 Like 1 Share |
