With no subsidies paid this month, that money should be more than that. Nigeria defies economics.
subsidy was stopped may 29/30. Today is june 22 so how did you arrive at your calculation?

Sharing sounds stupid in Century 21. All the States to generate their revenues from all known resources in their lands and waters and pay tax for a central government administration.

Prosperity should be earned based on resourcefulness not sharing.

Adeosun as the then Finance Minister was sacked because she demanded for the detailed monthly report of the then NNPC before she can accept the remittance from the corporation. After then, it was discovered that she was not having the NYSC certificate. The rest was history. And guess what? Not too long, the NNPC couldn't remit anything reasonable to the country. The thieves were stealing the crude oil in bulk and nobody cares. The government kept borrowing to fund the budget. Nigeria needs something better.
Tom polo was only brought in to clean the mess towards the end of his administration.

Always sharing

Allow state to control their resources and give you small percentage of it

I understand the insult
Have been giving tinubu's supporter here on nairaland headache
It is about to get worse for them...it is no longer business as usual for them
Always defending thier oppressors because of petty sentiments

The reason why this cannot work in Nigeria is due to the secessionist views in the South East. There is yet to be peace the war is cold and brooding. People need to share power to a certain level and bring about the ultimate check and balance like the CIA who would not allow the empire crumble.

I didn't border reading the news cos I knew nothing positive will come out. I was just looking at that woman. She's very beautiful, decent and responsible. Nigerians girls should look up to this kind of woman.
