Here in Calabar, a bottle of the regular beer goes for nothing less than N700. Some go as high as N850. These same bottles of beer were sold between N200-250 before the arrival of APC. Seems even beer shouldn't be for the poor and average in Nigeria.

Anyways, I don't drink alcohol but this report is very factual. You can confirm from available sources.

How much is it in your area?

LET THE POOR BREATHE!!!

He's not talking about alcohol being a cure for pain. He's talking about beer prices per bottle. People drink alcohol for leisure not as a pain reliever.

The price needs to increase further so that some men will no longer fall into the drainage again.

500 naira standard price Lagos mainland. 700 naira I guess around ikeja and possibly almost 1k to 700 on the island depends on where. 2k was enough just last year to drink two bottle and a plate of pepper soup or cow tail. APC have touched everything and Everywhere just remain For them to Tax air we breath.

One of the sector I expected to sore higher like 2,000% in terms of price is alcohol or beer and tobacco or cigarettes too and betting too so that so that some people will stop hitting their cars at night or during the day. And under 18 will eventually stay off by force after that we'll know the real men

They don't want the poor to have access to anything again in this country.

Far back 2010, a thousand naira could get you 2 bottles with suya. Plus someone you know could send down extra bottles to your table.

Now it's hard to see someone buy you some bottles. The poor are really suffocating fr fr embarassed

You don't drink beer, so why are you now concerned about the price of beer 🙄
