WAEC GCE 2023 registration form for 2nd series; We would like to inform the general public and prospective candidates that registration for the WASSCE for private candidates, second series, 2023, will commence on July 10, 2023.

The examination will cover a total of thirty-six (36) subjects. Candidates are advised to visit the official website of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) at www.waecnigeria.org to verify the available examination towns and subjects before obtaining the registration PIN.

Registration for the examination will be conducted online. After obtaining the Registration PIN, candidates should log on to www.waeconline.org.ng to complete their registration. It is important to note that the registration process includes the capture of biometric features, which will be used for validation at the examination centers.

Registration will be open from Monday, July 10th, 2023, to Friday, August 11th, 2023.

Candidates are required to pay a registration fee of Eighteen Thousand, Nine Hundred and Fifty Naira (N18,000) only. The fee should be paid at designated branches of the listed banks or accredited agents. Candidates will also be required to pay a commission of five hundred naira (N500.00) to the banks/accredited agents.

Additionally, candidates have the option to utilize various cashless payment channels, as mentioned in the new advert, to purchase their registration tokens using a credit/debit card.

Candidates who miss the registration deadline can still participate as “Walk-in Candidates” by registering no later than twenty-four hours before the scheduled time of their chosen papers. The fee for “Walk-in Candidates” is Thirty Thousand, Five Hundred Naira (N30,500.00) only.

Candidates with special needs are advised to register online like other candidates, clearly indicating their specific impairments, such as visual impairment, low vision, spasticity, speech impairment, hard of hearing, etc.

To register, candidates can visit accredited banks, cyber cafes, WAEC offices, or the nearest “WAEC REGISTRATION POINTS” for the purchase of the registration PIN and registration process.

Candidates must complete their registration within two weeks of their initial access to the website during the registration period. It is essential to ensure that personal details such as names, gender, passport photographs, dates of birth, and subjects are accurately entered.

Candidates are advised to print the Admission Notice as evidence of successful registration, which will serve as identification during the examination.
