Gov Fubara faces more criticism after the appointments of Chief-of-Staff and Secretary to the State Government.

The Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has re-appointed Tammy Danagogo as Secretary to the State Government.

Danagogo was the SSG to the immediate past administration, led by former Governor, Nyesom Wike.

Governor Fubara also appointed Chidi Amadi, as his Chief-of-Staff.

Their appointments were contained in a statement dated June 22, 2023, and signed by Boniface Onyedi, the Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Governor.

This comes almost one month after the Governor was sworn into office, a “delayed” appointment which created wide criticism.

Although their sympathisers describe the appointments as a real Consolidation and has been spreading Congratulatory messages , while the Sim camps/ insider have condemned the appointments as they were not happy about the appointments especially it was against Sim wishes, saying it is wasteful and the height of political rascality.

This development promted them to took to their social media handles, especially Facebook to criticize Amadi’s appointment as the Chief-of-Staff owing to his tribe in the state.

On his part, the governors have stoutly defended the appointments, arguing that government is a continuum and that they are, therefore, constitutionally empowered to make such appointment.

Some Political heavy weights in the State and a major player in the just concluded Governorship Election, High Chief Ledum Adonis Deekae JP, Mene Zaa 1 Of Africa, speaking on Sunday in an event in Khana LGA, condemned the these appointments.

His words " Governor Siminialayi Fubara of Rivers State reappointing and announcing Dr Tammy Danagogo as Secretary to the State Government (SSG), a position he also occupied during former Governor Nyesom Wike’s administration, and picking Chidi Amadi as Chief Of Staff, Government House , is a clear indications that former Gov. Wike remains an Emperor and Alternative Governor of Rivers State".

" Wike is on the streets of Abuja hunting for a ministrial slot to enable him control both the Federal and State".

The Secretary 1 Contact and Mobilisation Tonye Cole, APC Governorship Campaign Council , High Chief Ledum Adonis Deekae JP, said the peoples of Rivers State will be going from one prayers House to another's in the coming days as they live at the Mercies of God in Rivers State.

He however plead and encouraged Rivers people never to lost hope that their stolen mandates will reclaims soonest.

He further reassure them that APC will rule Rivers State and Tonye Cole will be their Governor in the coming months.

Governor Fubara has been caged by wike. From the look of things he'll be the worse governor in the history of Rivers state, he's just a scalar quantity

Fubara cannot even hide his shame even small.
SSG, Chief of Staff, House Speaker that are supposed to be core loyalist of the incumbent governor were even imposed on Fubara.

Fubara cannot even pretend to be ashamed of himself. This one is 1 million times worse than Ambode.
