The convener of the youth o'clock in Ondo State and candidate in the recently concluded state parliament Election is celebrating the 2023 Eidel-Kabir with Nigeria Muslim community and give reasons why the Eid (Sallah) is a religious and historical event which everyone regardless of faith or belief should celebrate.

Having faith, courage, sacrifice and obedience are necessary factors when expecting divine blessings from God.

Many people believed that Eidel-Kabir is only a religious event meant to be celebrated only by Muslims, but it's a significant event in the history of mankind that teaches about the faith of Abraham (Ibrahim) and the reward for his obedience through his sacrifice.

The love for the things of God and obeying the universal commandments as documented in the Holy Bible and Holy Quran will bring divine blessings and upliftment from the maker of the universe.

The occasion should therefore go beyond the slaughtering of rams to sharing love and material possessions not only with relatives or acquaintances, but also with the displaced, the elderly, the orphans and other people at the margin of the society, including those with special needs''.
