Elections were held in 36 states and the FCT. Post the results on state by state basis and let’s see if what INEC declared is different from what is on IREV.

It’s a simple question na… who polled the highest votes in the Presidential election for Rivers state, and who did INEC declare as the winner?

There is no reason for hiding in the first place, you can see his explanation is simple and clear. Besides every candidate is expected to have agent at each polling unit and each agent has a copy.

Simple question,
what was the nature of the glitch?
A. Technical failure
or
B. Human failure

INEC is now glitching to answer the question.

How is a Data Analyst answering a question like a lawyer?

Who asked him about how transmission affects electoral integrity?

It's a very simple 1 + 1 question... we know there was a glitch but wetin cause am?

Inec failed again ,all we are talking about is electronic transmission of Pu results for all to see before announcement,if that was done it will be difficult to announced another person a winner because everyone would have seen the results from each state.
Are you saying that your PU agent has lost his own copy of the result or you didn't pay attention to what the witness just said? The fact that the results were not transmitted electronically or real time doesn't change the actual figure of your PU result, simple as that.

Just imagine what someone brought to court!

Either they transmit results electronically or not, that should not be your concern.

What should be you concern in court for the court to grant you victory is, how the result that was declared is different from the true results and the margin that affects the actual results that should have given you victory instead.

PDP, stop fooling yourselves. Sometimes I wonder if their lawyers know what they are doing.

What do you mean? With one day they killed all Atiku laboured to build in one month. Tinubu's lawyers will do the rest.

Are you sure about that ?

Can you show everyone of us an excerpt from that February 23 publication in the tribune newspaper that corroborate this claim made by INEC and which the respondent witness affirmed to ?

You’re wrong. What happened in Enugu and Abia states is one party trying to inflate the figures to gain advantage over the others.
Even our Electoral Act and the constitution explain how results must be collated.
You two are saying the same thing, that of those places were resisted but INEC chairman preferred to announce his by midnight and asked the parties involved to go to court .

He announced an already prepared results hence they are struggling with the uploaded results on irev.
Re: INEC Closes Its Case In Atiku’s Petition Challenging Tinubu’s Election by casualobserver: 8:53am On Jul 04, 2023
igwebuike01:

INEC lawyers are clueless. Nobody is talking about electronic collation. Real time transmission of photographed or scanned results sheet into irev is for cross checking the manually collated results and no final announcement is to be made until they tally, that was what delayed announcement in Abia and Enugu guber Elections

Why do you people like to waste your energies and effort of fruitless ventures? This is how you based your who petition in 2019 on Bihari’s certificate when the law clearly states he does not need WASC if he has higher qualifications or work experience?

The matter of IREv has been settled in the case of Adelekan and Osun state. Irev is merely a viewing platform for the public, it has no legal implications for the results or collation of results. It is not even admissible in court. The basis of collation and determination of the result of an election is the EC8 forms. THIS HAS BEEN DETERMINED BY THE SUPREME COURT. Irev has no locus standi in court because the EC8 is the basis for whatever is or is not on IREV. All this noise about Irev, you are just wasting your time.

If you want to show you won, you have to show the physical EC8 results or BVAS, those are the only evidence that any election petition will entertain…please educate yourselves. It’s the law.

It's funny how the LP and PDP are sensationalizing the proceedings of the court without looking at substance. What dominated the LP and PDP social media space yesterday was that INEC witnesses failed to show up in court. Whereas, an INEC witness showed up in court against the petition of the PDP, he provided the AWS cloud-trail log showing that there was no human intervention in the so-called technical glitch that occurred on the election day. INEC also showed publication they made before the election informing everyone that they might not transmit results electronically.

The way LP and PDP supporters made it seem on social media was that INEC was finding it difficult to defend themselves and their witnesses could not show up because of that grin. The only witnesses that failed to show in court yesterday were the ones that were supposed to testify against LP, and they will be showing up today.

I hope when the court give judgement in favour of the status quo, some of them would not come out to say APC bribed the judges. The opposition are giving the whitewashed version of events in the court. Their lawyers are playing to the gallery, always addressing the media and making outlandish claims. APC and Tinubu lawyers on the other hand rarely address the press.

This is why they keep losing elections, they deal in sensationalism and emotion and not substance and strategy. Have you noticed that since it became harder to rig elections PDP and it’s associates have found it difficult to win elections? The opposition joined forces to defeat you and You think the best way to defeat them is to divide yourselves into 4 factions and go your separate ways.

"Specifically, the notice was issued on 23 November, three days to the Presidential election, and published in the Nigerian Tribune Newspaper." ---- op.

1) Nov 23 was not 3 days to the presidential election.
2) a secretely sponsored publication in Tribune, and not read by voters, cannot substitute the VOW by INEC that was viewed nationwide by voters; the INEC VOW that no other method except electronic transmission of vote results from BVAS to INEC portal, should be used for the general elections.
BUT WHY WOULD APC IN COLLUSION WITH MAHMOOD YAKUBU WANT TO INSULT THE PSYCHE OF NIGERIANS WITH APC/INEC PREDETERMINED INITIATIVE TO RIG THE LAST PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION, LIKE THEY USED SERVER DENIAL TO RIG THE 2019 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION?

Election thieves.

The biggest mistake Atiku/Obi made is to rush to court and then allow INEC/Tinubu get on the defensive lastly. I know Atiku isn't really serious about his court case, but Obi assuming he had a case to really prove shouldn't have rushed in to present first. But then again, that would be an impossible procedure in court. When Tinubu starts his defense this week, he's just going to look for 1000 different loopholes in the "evidences" presented and knock out all their cases before lunch break.
Obi allowed emotions and the energy of his headless mob push him into political irrelevance. He had a great support and goodwill from well meaning Nigerians in the onset till it took a dark turn by his followers. I heard someone presented the EU report released recently as evidence. Such a huge joke! Where was EU report when Trump Supporters were hijacking the US Capitol the other day? France is burning today right under their nose, but they can't write a report too. Clowns.

If INEC ever issued a notice before the election that it would not use electronic transmission of vote results during the general elections, why then did it use electronic transmission of vote results in all the elections, except for the presidential election, but gave excuse of GLITCH for not using electronic transmission of vote results for presidential election?

Hahaha as a lawyer of many many years standing I can tell you that their defence is simple. The electoral act does not consider irev as part of the voting chain simple. They don't need to start putting up ten witnesses that will confuse each other. Their argument is simple. Irev was botched but us not part of the voting process laid out in the Act. LP is trying to insinuate a process from statements made by inec officials. Inec is holding on to the electoral act process. Which is what the court will rule on. Slam dunk case.

It's simple for inec. No sweat. No drama.

It's only a DOG who would spend billions of Naira to make Electoral Act of 2022, and spent billions of Naira to establish a system for electronic transmission of vote results, to make elections more transparent, and vowed before the public that no other method except electronic transmission of vote results would be used for the general elections; but later goes back to the manual collation of votes he set out to jettison, all in the bid to SELECT the octogenarian Tinubu who forged certificate of birth, to become president of Nigeria.

Comon! The result INEC published in their server and the one they called did not corelate, so that alone is enough for INEC to loose in court, there is what we call integrity. My verdict is INEC lost this First Case

Why for the issue of INEC changing the guidelines before the election after investigation my Verdict is INEC actually announce the change of guidelines so INEC won this second case.
But still on still the result may be recounted

How did it not correlate. Wen even LP & PDP can't prove it. Dey couldn't present just one PU dat had different result on Irev to d original EC8A forms each of dia agents had a copy of. Not even one

INEC does not need to hide. With the evidence tendered by INEC, Atiku is a dead man walking by now. I read somewhere, but not reported here that Dr Boyede also presented evidence of the glitch including error printouts etc to the Tribunal. They will use the same evidence to kill Obi’s petition today.

Contradictory and empty defense.

They published in Tribune newspaper that results will be collated manually but went ahead to electronically collate results and claimed a Glitch happened for Presidential collation. Is that not a Nonesense.
Why did you give out passwords for electronic collation grin grin.

Yesterday the Director of INEC said only 31% of the collated results were calculated accurately. grin

They said free , fair and credible. How
18,088 blurred results worth millions of votes already accepted as evidence ?? and others accepted evidence

INEC themselves mentioned glitches and overwhelming allegations of which the reports are all there.

INEC is not ready for the defense.

The respondents would have labored to defend the election if the petitioners had probed their cases. So, it’s a stroll in the park for INEC as Atiku and Obi both failed woefully to prove irregularity or rigging in the election. The other issues about Tinubu’s qualification is not for INEC to defend. Tinubu’s lawyers will handle whatever is left of that.

What happened in Rivers and Benue alone that has been unraveled, what is that called
Even APC Chieftains acknowledged it was clear rigging in those areas and trying to dissociate themselves from those areas. Evidences are already there accepted as exhibit.

Credible rigging ??
