Every PEPT is unique, 2007 PEPT was close to annuling the elections because the electoral act of 2006 was infringed upon. The surferer couldn't just approbate and reprobate at the same time that was why it became a split decision in favour of Yaradua at the time.

The other PEPT in the fourth republic had not been contentious and weighty like that of 2007 except the 2023 PEPT. Expecting same results for different scenarios may bring your hopes to the lowest ebb.

Don't rely too much on that, it could be a mistake . Proving the identity of the student through various means especially the passport photographs and ID Card used then , would be the crux of the matter. One could make mistakes when filling forms, it doesn't really hold water.
Sometimes, these lawyers seem dull and tend to play to the gallery. Since they are disputing the identity of the student, they have to prove it

This case is very technical. Can Tinubu be said to be unqualified after going through scrutiny for senatorial and governorship elections ? I think the opposition should base their point and evidences on how the elections was rigged,the margin and where the rigging took place .

Ask this question to former Bayelsa governor and his wife who escaped scrutiny until the court found out and sacked the governor because of his deputy's fake documents. Tinubu fudged his documents. Too many inconsistencies. And he has escaped all this while because of the wealth he has. This is the truth. Wether they sack him or not is a different story.

boss, we are both saying the same thing in two different ways,

is the opposition basing their petition on the fact that the election was rigged in favor of APC ? and if they have the evidence then no problem

OR
are they basing their petition on the candidacy of the ruling parties candidates ? .

this is my own assumption, if it is based on the rigging of elections then most likely the court may rule in favor of tinubu or order a rerun BUT if it is based on the candidacy of tinubu and his vice, if this is proven beyond a reasonable doubt, then tinubu will be removed.
