The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) have enabled the portal for Change of Course/Institution For 2023 Admission. This process is to enable candidates’ effect the needed changes in their earlier registration and selected course and/or institution.



WHY CANDIDATES APPLY FOR JAMB CHANGE OF COURSE/INSTITUTION

There are obviously good reasons why a candidate may need to concur to correction of data because of reasons below:



Low Jamb Score: After the release of the 2023 Jamb results, the next thing to face is admission screening exercise and admissions. Now take for instance that someone applied for aUniversity of Lagos, UNILAG who will probably fix a cut-off mark of 200 since JAMB has peg it to be 180 if such candidate scored less than 200, it simply means he/she might lost the admission. In this case the change of institution to a state-owned/private University becomes necessary. State universities generally fix cut-off marks below 200.



Incomplete O’Level Result: In this case candidates who may have ran into deficiency of required credit passes in some key/relevant subjects may decide to go for change of course so as to increase his or her chances of Admission.

What if the change of institution is not reflecting in the school chosen like university of delta in Agbor 2023/2024

I did change in state of origin immediately the portal was opened, and up till now, it has not been effected. Pls, what is the way forward

Probably there was a delay in releasing jamb result due to malpractice from the center u wrote ur jamb

I was able to resolve the problem for my daughter...the reason why the change of institution it's not reflecting in the school u changed to is because, there is no information in ur CAPS , and the change didn't reflect there ...your jamb CAPS is more like a profile about you that shows every little details about u
The change you did and your choice of course u want to study, your jamb score and ur NECO or JAMB is also inside the CAPS
So once the school you have chosen as your first choice downloads and sees all these information on your CAPS ,you can now purchase their post ume form because they will send it to you immediately after checking ur details properly
