If INEC had a proactive and resourceful spokesman like JAMB's Fabian Benjamin, by now, it would be obvious that Obi and Mmesoma have no case whatsoever. One wants to reclaim scholarships and recognition that she is not entitled to, and the other wants to reclaim a mandate that was never his estate.

This was the first thing that came to my mind too! Mr Obi's penchant for lying and obscene claims to winning an election where he came a distant 3rd even after massive rigging in his Igboland, had damaged the psyche of most Igbo youths he misled into thinking he won. It will probably take two generations of upright Igbo leaders to fix this problem of obscene lying he elevated to political and social craft in Igboland.

It's really sad that this lady is one of the victims of Mr Obi's bad character of lying. It's really sad. Imagine Igbo politicians now strangely describing a full grown lady of 19 years old a minor just to lie and misrepresent facts that this young woman is an adult of age of accountability.

I am very disappointed in the manner most of our Eastern folks defended the Mmesoma girl and labelled anyone with a contrary opinion a tribalist. They defended the girl, not because of they had evidence to do so, but because of her tribe. At some point, I wondered if none of them had brothers/sisters, nephews and neighbors who sat for the same JAMB so that they can compare their slips with Mmesoma's. Unfortunately, only Mmesoma wrote JAMB in the SE .

If you defended Mmesoma, ask yourself if you would have given the same defense if she was Hausa, Edo or Yoruba. It is the same way many Obidients are defending Obi's purported stolen mandate with little convincing evidence. I see a very strong correlation between Mmesoma, her defenders, Obi and Obidients.
