Sadly, I observe that most prominent Nigerians who criticized and protested against Jonathan's government, their voices were no where to be found under Buhari's government. The excruciating hardship, wanton waste of human lives and gargantuan corruption that accompanied the immediate past regime was many times worse than that of sixteen years of PDP. Now that Mr Tinubu is following the footsteps of Buhari as he promised, economy has nosedived and many more people are now living in poverty. I expect that those who organized protests upon protests during PDP government can now come out to criticize and protest like never before. Because what is good for goose is also good for gander, in the interest of all Nigerians. 8 Likes |

Newton2024: Paid actors. Tinubu saw his chance with a weak Jonathan as President. He went and brought out an incompetent bigot in Buhari, who most of the country had repeatedly rejected as an arrogant zealot in election after election, and repackaged him for his own personal political ambition for the presidency. Tinubu, among others, sponsored the anti-GEJ/Pro-Baba campaign which many of the unwitting public bought into. So yeah, when Buhari got into office and confirmed he was indeed arrogant, inept and bigoted, they didn’t really have anywhere to run lol. They had made their bed so they had to stay silent and lie in it. In the end the share bigotry of Baba almost cost Tinubu the presidency. You only have to look at the immediate reversal of Buhari’s stupid “defend the Naira” and “nepotism based appointments” policies to know that Tinubu fully realises (and should have known from the beginning) that Buhari was a thoroughly incompetent and failed president. Let’s hope that he can fix the mess that his ambition put us in ❤️ PS: I reject your assertion that Tinubu is as incompetent and inept as Buhari. Tinubu may have his character flaws but he hasn’t shown incompetence to be one of them just yet. Buhari on the other hand is in a league of his own in that aspect lol 1 Like 1 Share |

The people that protested against Jonathan were under Tinubu payroll, after death of gani Fawehimi tinubu hijack and built himself a fake opposition which later metamorphosized into a branch of APC from the odumakin couple to Aisha the Fulani lady that embezzled billions of dollars in NPA under buhari to Wole Soyinka to oby ezekwesili and Aisha Yusuf who both later pulled out etc so it wasn’t a real opposition actually. There is no real opposition in Nigeria today . Buhari used and tinubu is now using same pattern of push people into more extreme abject poverty, divide them along ethnic and religious lines and have space to loot and attend to their health needs because the truth is they are totally clueless on how to solve Nigeria’s problems but only to steal their way to power and answer president…same pattern since independence in 1960 2 Likes |
