Because kyari know the implication if he runs away from prison. That still doesn't warrant it to be bail. He is a security officer, and his punishment supposes to be harder than for civilians' because he knows the law already.

Our institute are weak and thrive on corruption.

Political bigwigs, particularly from the north don't go to prison.

Just look at the evidence against Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, were there was video evidence of him collection dollar bribe.
