But the poor have refused to do the right thing as far as elections is concerned. They are in the majority and have refused to use their strength properly.

Poor did not vote for APC, and APC got minority vote, but the opposition was so divided that they handed over to the APC in essence, (unless the court rules otherwise, but I am not holding my breath).

Having said that, considering that all the main candidates were saying subsidy has to go, and considering that we have a raging debt problem, and a new subsidy extension would require us to borrow, government had to remove subsidy. Whoever was occupying Aso Rock. (Unless your name is Sowore....).

5k fuel is not up to 10 liters which can’t even serve you for 4 days but if you use public transportation you can manage it for two weeks. So Why not use public transportation?

Depending on where people live, 5000 naira might not be enough to pay for a week of public transport.

Tinubu says "subsidy" (although fuel was never ever subsidized and the subsidy lie is to justify fuel price hike that would generate proceeds to be looted ) is favouring the rich, so he hiked fuel prices so that driving would become a privilege only the rich can enjoy.

LOL...there always has been a subsidy. If there was none, you would have been paying N580 for one liter as early as September 2022, when landing cost was N502 per liter then.

You are now sounding like Buhari who in 2014 said there was no subsidy.

Subsidy has always been there. In 2012, fuel was costing N97, meanwhile it cost N99 to bring in one liter. 2015, fuel cost N87, while it cost N132 per liter to bring it in. In 2016, fuel cost N145 while it cost N165 to bring it in. And in 2023, landing cost was N341, while fuel was being sold at N195.

You have not been feeling it because government has been protecting you from the actual price of fuel since 1973....which is why this price increase is shocking you. All our fellow African countries that have no subsidy meanwhile know how the thing pinches.

There always has been a subsidy. Otherwise, why are you asking for them to bring it back.? Why ask for something that you think does not exist.?

Good point, but if we kept it, the subsidy costs would rise with cost of production of fuel, (let's even forget about smuggling and corruption)...and eventually it would have reached a point where it ate all our revenue, plus money borrowed.

Then how would we fund our budget?

When we reach that point, poor suffering now would seem like kindergarten stuff.

Lol. I was shock when i wanted to order wooden spoon and grater from konga. Shipping fee was N3500 something I bought for N4500 the price of the thing even increases from the last time i wanted to buy it all in the name of subsidy removal. Shipping fee use to be N800-M600.

I bought another small thing N2500 shipping fee was N2000 i shock. Nigeria to Nigeria shipping fee is 85% of what I bought online.

All this happened this morning. Something konga use to ship for less that N800 - N600. This increases in shipping price is not just only the fuel for shipping it. But in general of all other things concerning the bad economy tinubu brought to Nigeria.

Nigerians are already missing buhari. The way things are going tinubu will end up the worst president to ever emerge from Nigeria. Inec chairman really sold Nigeria

I order dstv remote 1500, shipping na 2700.

Upper week I drove my car to my mechanic for an engine oil and filter change and the mechanic’s garage had only one car being worked on. A large place that used to be a beehive of activity.
I asked the owner of the place why the place was so empty. He said that since subsidy was removed, majority of people have stopped using their cars.

Uber too has reduced.

The man have quietly retired to his village in Daura, when the self-centered man went to invite him back to politics, now tell me who the greatest blame. You talk of cabal that are stealing our oil, these people, are they above the law? How many of them was arrested and our money stole collected back before subsidy removal? What sacrifice has he made political to make? What I believe is that anyone that wants the masses of this country to suffer more than what we suffer under Buhari, God will divinely intervene and save the masses in Jesus name.

Hate to break it to you but God is not coming down to intervene in a land filled with tribal bigots and hypocrites
He has already given you enough natural resources, talents and know how to succeed
He also gave free will which is why bigots were short sighted and greedy enough to support this madness

Truth is that Tinubu has no alternative other than removing it at soon as possible. The Blame is on Amechi, Ekweremadu(that brought Bill Gates to Buhari to Buy all Nigerian Federal Hospitals, sold to him for Billions already. Tinubu has been Fighting very Boldly and Courageously to UnDo and Reverse all these Satanic Transactions, this is why BGates rushed to Aso Rock few weeks ago to beg him to soft pedal. The Question is: why does he want to Own the Body and Souls of Nigerians?! Nigerians are not Animals to be Owned! If you know half of Battle that Tinubu is currently Fighting for Nigerians, you will shed Tears in Appreciation to CREATOR of Humanity for bringing such a Courageous Leader as Intervention!) and other satanic Greedy Souls like them that Connived with Buhari to Use Nigeria(ns) to endlessly borrow Billions of Dollars and Trillions of Yuan which Buhari audaciously siphoned straight away for Development of Niger Republic his true Country.

Even Great Economists and Professional Financial Analysts from Western World have said it would take a Miracle for any Government that takes over from Buhari to fund Nigeria after Buhari leaves Office, they said Economic Collapse of Nigerian is inevitable with the Unprecedented Wickedness and irredeemable Damage that Buhari and his Cronies did.

Removing the Subsidy at least Saves some Billions (that the theivng Oil Cabals would have also continue to be claiming) for Nigeria use to start the Long Journey to Recovery, from the Unprecedented Wicked Wounds and Monumental Damage which Buhari and his satanic Encouragers like Emefiele, Ekweremadu, Amechi, etc.

Tinubu really Need all the Prayers and Encouragements he can get from us all. Sincerely, if you know the level of Damage that these wicked heartless Anti-Humanity Souls did to Nigeria as a Country, you will know that only GOD ALMIGHTY can Help Tinubu to bring his Vision of making Nigeria great again to Reality.

Please, quickly Download this Video before they remove it from YouTube again. Share on WhatsApp and on all Social Media, this is what all Nigerians should Unite against not the Senseless Tribalism that the those with Ekweremadu wicked heart are using to Divide the Masses. This Video shows when Ekweremadu encouraged Buhari to Cede the Right over all Nigerian Federal Hospitals to Bill gates for Billions of Dollars, which has already been shared. They kept the Masses in the Dark while they sold them out Completely. Try not to Cry from being overshocked by what you discovered today was long done to your Future under Buhari. cry
