Three reasons why INEC is the cause of all this Wahala.
The controversies that accompanied the 2023 general elections were solely the fault of INEC for these reasons:
1. INEC promised that result sheets will be uploaded on their website several times on different occasions before the election and then failed to do this during the elections. Now according to the legal experts, this is not mandatory but the thing is INEC promised to do it. They were not forced to do so.

2. The discrepancies in the result sheets most notably the ones from Rivers State further damaged their reputation in the voters mind. That kind of manipulation can only happen if there was collusion of some kind.

3. Then there is the 25% of the FCT thing that INEC completely mishandled.

If INEC had done its job properly then there would have been no complaints because few people actually expected Peter Obi to win the elections. Infact I am sure that even without the rigging, Tinubu would have won because of APC's spread. Nigerians went into that election with high hopes, thinking that finally we would have a much better election than the previous ones but INEC had other plans.

You can now call me a wailer.

1. INEC's promise according to the legal experts, is not mandatory. That's the Law.

2. Whatsoever happened in RiverState follows from point ONE above. INEC's promise is not MANDATORY.

3. On the 25% of the FCT thing, the INTERPRETATION is 1/4 × FCT VOTES/36. TINUBU SCORED MORE THAN THAT.

There is no wahala where I am regarding the election outcome.

People accept the election was not perfect - like all previous elections- and they also accept there is a lawful judicial process underway for aggrieved candidates to rightfully pursue their claims.

Most reasonable people will accept the outcome of the tribunal cases and continue to demand a better election process in the future.

That is the civilised approach most people are taking, I think.

There's no wahala anywhere that I see.
